Please join us for an inspiring conversation that brings together Indigenous artists to share their work, stories, and perspectives. This free, all‑ages event invites the community to explore Indigenous philosophies of reciprocity that honor the interconnections between people, the natural environment, and the deep history of Indigenous lands in Southern Nevada, which we all call home.

The discussion is presented in conjunction with the current exhibition located in the Primrose Gallery, offering attendees the opportunity to engage more deeply with the artwork and ideas that shape the exhibition.

About the Exhibition Curator
Fawn Douglas is an Indigenous American artist, activist, and mother, and an enrolled member of the Las Vegas Paiute Tribe, with ancestral roots in the Moapa Paiute, Southern Cheyenne, Creek, Pawnee, and Scottish communities. She serves as the Manager and Creative Director of Nuwu Art, which includes Nuwu Art Studios and the Nuwu Art Gallery + Community Center, located in the heart of Las Vegas, Nevada.

Fawn’s practice lives at the intersection of art, activism, community, education, culture, identity, place, and sovereignty. Through her work, she tells stories that honor memory, sustain culture, and ensure Indigenous voices are not only remembered—but heard and felt in the present.
